I spent an afternoon outdoors with Lisa and David while being introduced to the Akira Concept. They took me through basics of how the body moves, what’s needed to keep it nimble and how there are exercises that maintain our strength and prevent muscle and joint deterioration as we age. It was very informative and relaxed and their knowledge is abundant and well researched. Nothing was daunting and I was sorry when our session came to an end after I was taken through gentle but highly effective combinations of movements, including stretching. I do their Joint Mobilization every morning with my husband who also had his own session with Lisa and David and came away feeling the same way I did. The Akira Concept is something important to invest in and once you do it’s yours forever which means your hips, knees, back and overall health will thank you.

There are so many exercise, meditation, muscle conditioning and mindfulness programs available out there and so little time to devote to all of them. Future Proofing is different, though. As someone who has witnessed the evolution of The Akira Concept, as well as the writing of The Akira State Workbook, I can tell you that it all comes from an organic place of honesty, love and smarts with the vision to make us healthier and the world a better place.
