Future Proofing is an intensive yet gentle, training program and clinic and we look forward to bringing it to Viewmount Park on these dates:

Future Proofing Workshop ONE: Tuesday, August 25 from 2pm – 4pm
Future Proofing Workshop TWO: Saturday, August 29 from 10am – 12pm
Future Proofing Workshop THREE: Tuesday, September 15 from 5pm – 7pm

We have created this radically different approach to awareness and body movement that will allow you to increase your strength and mobility, expand on your functional abilities, improve your health and move closer to your personal wellness goals, no matter your age or stage in life.

Future Proofing is “the process of anticipating the future, and developing methods of minimizing the effects of shocks and stresses of future events” – how fortunate are we to be able to have the opportunity to influence how well we live in our own bodies?

Whether you currently experience chronic pain, have an injury and are rehabilitating, or simply want to prevent premature aging, the best thing you can do is to move your body … properly.

This experienced-based program, includes 2 hours of education and practice in a small group setting (maximum of 10 participants) with personalized attention and a focus on outcomes. Future Proofing offers a balanced approach that goes beyond your attendance.

You will learn a sequence of movements designed specifically for you to be able to practice on your own, whenever and wherever you wish – without hijacking your already busy day.

Our intention is to teach you and inspire you to identify issues before they become chronic, to learn proper body movement in order to navigate your days with more ease and grace and less pain, to workout more effectively and efficiently and to live a more connected and aware life.

We assure you that you’ll be working towards preventing breakdown, fortifying your efforts in fitness and wellness, and investing in a healthier body and more powerful mind.

Workshop One:

7 tracks of Future Proofing: Joint Mobilization, Core Power, Foot Health, Balance Matters, Ready and Recover Practices, Static Stretching, and healthy Hydration

Cork Foot Massage Ball to reinforce and support your Future Proofing Foot Health practice.

Printed Future Proofing Workbook, Module One used during workshop and includes baselining practices, movement patterns and Rituals learned in the program.

Nourishing food to keep you well-fueled during the workshop and to take home.

Intake Form and series of follow up emails for support.

 

Workshop Two:

7 tracks of Future Proofing: Shoulder Mobilization, Core Power, Spinal Health, Functional Balance, Ready and Recover Practices, Active Stretching, and Nourishment

Toe Action Elastic to reinforce and support your Future Proofing Foot Health practice.

Printed Future Proofing Workbook, Module Two used during workshop and includes baselining practices, movement patterns and Rituals learned in the program.

Nourishing food to keep you well-fueled during the workshop and to take home.

Workshop Three:

7 tracks of Future Proofing: Hip Mobilization, Core Power, Eccentric Power, Functional Balance, Ready and Recover Practices, Dynamic Stretching, and UnMeditation

Nourishing food to keep you well-fueled during the workshop and to take home.

 

Partake in all three workshops, or just one. You can attend Future Proofing Workshop 2 or 3 even if you have not taken Future Proofing Workshop 1.

If these dates do not work, contact us directly and we would be pleased to offer you a private or semi-private experience at Viewmount Park or in our studio.
