The Akira Concept defines organic as, “Pure … honouring what is simply good by nature.”
When we speak about “organic”, it is not reserved for food alone … we urge you to be in pursuit of all things organic … breath, movement, fuel, rest, and connection.
The words “pure”, “honouring”, “simply” and “good by nature” express what is important when it comes to everything in life. We merged these powerful words to form our definition of “organic” with the hope that it also denotes the opposite of harmful and stands for what is honest, functional, efficient, regenerative, sustainable, and with integrity.
Organic is good for you, your family, and the world we all share.
We believe everything can be categorized as:
Organic: Pure … honouring what is simply good by nature.
Engineered: Created … solutions-focused but not always positive.
Harmful: Destructive … short-sighted, superficial, and unsustainable.
Why do “engineered” or “harmful” things exist? It’s simple … culturally, we have been programmed to create “want” and “need”, and then we buy or buy into these “wants” and “needs”. How do we change this? It’s simple … choose organic.
Organic options are readily available … we challenge you to choose what is “right” instead of following the masses and doing what is “easy” and “convenient”. The more you choose and support organic, the more organic everything becomes for us all (Empathy Economics). Your choices affect everyone and everyone’s choices affect you. Everything is connected.
Embrace organic. Become organic.
